For this project I was challenged to create a campaign centered around the text and content from Children's International. After reading about the inspiring organization I chose to focus on the positive impact donating can bring. I used a clean style paired with bright colors and plants to showcase the positivity and joy felt by Children's International success stories.
This project was about creating and branding a music festival from the ground up. I wanted to focus on surf and psych rock so I called my music festival Offshore and chose Poseidon and his trident for the logo. I wanted the design graphics to be clean and bright with a slight nod to the surf rock design style of the sixties.
The concept was to create a coffeeshop centered around music from the sixties and seventies. The name along with the design elements for it came from The Rolling Stone’s song "Paint it Black." The cafe is branded around a classic rock and roll style while still keeping all design elements clean. The logo is a rosette which is art that decorates the top of a latte. The coffee blend bags contain puns after different famous songs including "Walk on the Wild Side" by Lou Reed for the mild blend (Hey Babe, Take a Walk on the Mild Side), and Simon and Garfunkel's "The Sound of Silence" (Hello Dark Blend, My Old Friend).
I took the photograph and made this collage and design for a friend’s baby shower.
